Why We Perform

Today, we can stream any kind of music, anywhere, performed perfectly, at maximum acoustic quality.  But there is something about the experience of a live musical performance that can't be replicated with earbuds. 

Humans have music appreciation baked into our DNA, and we respond to it from the earliest age until we are barely responding to anything else.  We want to contribute to those human life experiences.
